If you have never played Formula One Trivia Blitz before, here are the instructions.
Playing Formula One Trivia Blitz is easier than tying your shoelaces. Faster, too. Formula One Trivia Blitz is a Java-based game consisting of 10 multiple-choice questions and begins as soon as the applet is downloaded to the page you are viewing. If you missed the first question or didn't do so well, don't worry - just wait a few seconds, and the game will start again. You can play as many times as you wish.
If you score 1,500 points or more in the 10-question round, you become eligible for a weekly prize draw. Just press the submit button and follow the instructions that pop up.
You don't actually need an Uproar account to play the game, but you do need it to be eligible for the weekly prize. If you would like to be an Uproar member and win prizes, then just click on the link in the pop up window to register a new account, quickly, easily and best of all, completely free.

What happens when you play
You don't have to log in to play Trivia Blitz. The game begins automatically once the applet has loaded. At Uproar, we care about trivia more than Juan Valdez cares about coffee. Only the choicest titbits are used, harvested from the rich fields of Culture, Entertainment, Fine Arts, Geography, History, Science and Sports. Each question is worth a maximum of 1000 points. As soon as it appears on the screen, the point-clock starts ticking, and you have 10 seconds to select your answer. Choose A, B, C or D with your mouse or keyboard. The faster you answer, the more points you get - unless you get it wrong, of course, in which case you get nothing.
Please note: you can't change your answer once you've chosen, but you will not lose points if you answer incorrectly. So go ahead and take a guess. If nothing else, you might learn something.
How do I qualify for the £15 weekly draw?
If you score 1,500 points or more in a 10-question round, you become eligible to win £15 in our weekly draw, provided you have a valid Uproar account. If you make the cut but do not have an Uproar account, that's OK; simply follow the 10 second registration procedure to become a full member of Uproar and qualify for that week's draw. Remember, though, that you can qualify only once every week for the £15 weekly prize. The qualifying week begins Monday at 12:00 a.m. GMT and ends the following Monday at 12:00 a.m. GMT.
How do I get my prize? Winners of weekly draws will be notified by email and prompted to claim their prize. Cheques will be sent at the end of the month to the mailing address provided. The name of each week's winner will appear on the Uproar site, for the whole world to see. We may be required to withhold any taxes and fees associated with the award of any prizes and/or to report the value of prizes awarded to you to the appropriate authorities.

You hardly need a PhD to add Trivia Blitz to your site. In fact, it's as easy as cutting and pasting a few lines of HTML code onto one of your web pages. Every time a visitor opens that page, the Trivia Blitz applet will download all graphics and text from the Uproar server.
Maintaining Trivia Blitz
Maintaining Trivia Blitz is the easiest job this side of the Maytag repairman. Once you add Trivia Blitz to your site, you'll never have to do it again! Each week we put a new set of questions on the Uproar server, which your applet will then access automatically. We will pay you referral fees on a monthly basis. However, if the fees payable to you for that month are less than £50.00, we will hold those fees until the total amount due is at least £50.00, or (if earlier) until this Agreement is terminated. We will also send you a monthly report via e-mail, indicating how many people registered for Uproar from your site.
Trivia Blitz won't put any additional strain on your server - the Uproar server in London contains the images and text, so it does all the work! We have designed Trivia Blitz to register quickly and efficiently, so your visitors will see results almost immediately when they open your page.
Feel free to move the applet to a different web page; Trivia Blitz will work on any HTML page. However, if you change the URL location or decide to add Trivia Blitz to multiple web pages, then just visit the Affiliate Services area to update your information.
